Visit to traditional textile workshop

We  visited a traditional small scale workshop for textile making in the ttarditonal methods. These women have formed a small co-operative. Only one of the ladies speaks English and she does the presentation with all the other ladies rushing in to provide the necessary equipment whether it be hot water or wool etc. They work in alpaca and sheep wool and only natural dyes. When we left, they. Âme out to sing to us. It was such a lovely experience to see these women working together to promote their traditional skills and to earn additional income.
