Anchoivies galore

More anchoivies are caught in Peruvian waters than any other country in the world. They are not used for human consumption but made into flour and mixed with corn to feed chickens. There are thousands of intensive poultry sheds. The anchoivies are a major food source for the larger fish, sea birds and sea lions.
