Pukara
Last stop on our trip to Puno, was a visit to the ruins of this ancient civilisations dated to 300 years before Christ. The people were renowned for decapitaing people. There were many sculptures of people holding the heads of those who they had beheaded. On the back of the sculptures, there was a medal or head tally.
