Raqchi- Temple of the God Viracocha, the supreme god of the Incas.

This temple which has lost most of its pillars, roof and side walls is still spectacular to view. It is surrounded by over 150 ancient stone storage sheds. This area was a major trade exchange centre where people from Cuzco traded corn with potatoes and quinoa from the Puno regions.
