Iguazù Falls

We arrived here after lunch and visited the Brazilian side of the Falls. Iguazú means big waters and it is hard to find the words to describe the enormity of these waterfalls. There are over 270 waterfalls in e wet season and the falling area isof 2,700 square metres and the water volume flow reaches 6,500 cubic metres per second during flood season. The noise of the Falls is deafening and getting anywhere near the waterfalls entails getting quite wet.

    Much better view than I got 35 years ago - no boardwalk then. They are spectacular
